Key Stage 2 Choir - Singing during school closure
I've been thinking of you all and I hope you are keeping up your singing at home! How about teaching your parents or siblings some of the choir warm ups we know. See if they can sing "1,2,3,4,5" as fast as you can! Challenge yourself and them to sing it backwards - "5,4,3,2,1"! Once your voice is warmed up please keep practising 'Love Song to the Earth' and make sure you know the words from memory as we will perform this at some point when we are back together.
I am busy composing a new song for you all to sing and once the song is finished I will let you know how to access a recording of it and you will then be able to start to learn this at home too. Keeping checking back and I'll let you know when it's ready. Until then, keep those lovely voices going!
The choir meets in the Cowper Hall before school on a Monday morning starting at 8.20am. This is open to all KS2 children. They take part in the Hertford and Ware Carol Concert and the Spring Music Festival as well as performing at school events. There is also a lunchtime KS1 choir.
