In DT, Year 2 have been learning how to make cheese sandwiches. They practised key skills such as cutting, grating, spreading and buttering, building their confidence in food preparation. The children worked safely and showed great enthusiasm and independence throughout the activity. It was an enjoyable session that also supported their understanding of healthy eating.
Year 2 have been planting seeds and observing how they change under different conditions, such as a lack of water, light, or warmth.
