Steel Pan Session for Parents
Parents and carers were invited to try out the Steel Pans. With Mrs Mo leading them, they learnt how to play a very festive 'Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer' - see the clip in our video resource centre.
Salvation Army Christmas Present Appeal
We were overwhelmed with the toys, books and gifts donated by our families for the Salvation Army's Christmas Present Appeal. We know this will make a bug and very special difference to local families this Christmas time.
Remembrance Service
Rev. Andrew and our Year 6 children led us in poems, prayers and reflections, as we paused for a minute's silence and laid our Poppy Wreath at the War Memorial on the village green.
Wearing Yellow, Blue and Red for Ecuador
Our own clothes day raised over £200 for our charity link with Orphaids in Ecuador. Wearing the colours of the flag of Ecuador meant we were able to fundraise to send money to help buy Christmas presents and the turkey for their Christmas dinner.
