School Meals
Our school meals are currently provided by Herts Catering.
Most children choose to have a school meal for lunch. They are given four choices a day which include a meat or fish dish, a vegetarian dish, a jacket potato choice and a packed lunch option.
You can download the current menu from their website - www.hcl.co.uk.
At present, school lunches are provided free of charge by the government for all pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. In order for this to happen, Hertfordshire County Council would like all parents to register their entitlement for Universal Infant Free School Meals at www.hertsdirect.org/freeschoolmeals
Alternatively, children may bring their own packed lunch. Please can we remind you that we are a nut free school and you should take care when putting items into your child's packed lunch box (including sandwich fillings).
Some children will also be entitled to free school meals through Pupil Premium. You can check if your family is eligible by following this link - Pupil Premium (Free School Meals).
More information about Pupil Premium funding and our school can be found on our 'Statutory Information' page.
