Play Aloud Cowper is a privately run out-of-school club based in our school Dining Hall.   Play Aloud offers children from our school and nursery a nurturing, active and creative environment giving parents flexible, high quality childcare before/after school and during school holidays.

Play Aloud is registered with Ofsted on the Early Years and Voluntary Childcare Registers, meaning their staff are trained to the highest standards.  During term-time, Play Aloud Cowper is open from 7.30am until 6.30pm, wrapping around the school day.  They see children safely into, and pick up from, their classrooms/playground at the start and end of the school day.  During the school holidays, they provide childcare from 8.00am to 6.00pm.

Play Aloud offers healthy breakfasts, after-school snacks and cooked evening meals.  Activities and resources include crafts, board games, books, baking, toys, role-play, outdoor play, chill-out area, art, puzzles, music, sports activities, cosy corner, messy play, home learning help and all kinds of fun based on the children’s interests.  Play Aloud work in close partnership with the school to ensure continuity of care and the best of EYFS provision for your children.
