Cost of Living Support
Here at Hertingfordbury Cowper C of E Primary School, we are aware that at different times our families may face financial pressures. We are here to help and support where we can, and hope that the information contained within this page is useful.
The information can sign post you to various resources that are available and we aim to update it regularly with information that we receive for access to different support.
The school has designated Mrs Warren as the point of contact for anyone needing initial support with payments for school. She can be contacted via the school office.
Free School Meals
You are able to apply online for quick and easy confirmation of eligibility at www.hertsdirect.org/freeschoolmeals or phone on 0300 123 4048 between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday or between 9am and 4pm Saturday.
School Trips and Visits
We want every child to be able to attend school trips. No child should miss out due to financial difficulty. Any money requested by the school towards a trip/visit is a voluntary contribution. If you are unable to make the voluntary contribution, please contact the school. Applications can be made to the Trustees to help with the costs of trips. See the form below.
Pre-Loved School Uniform
The 'Friends of Hertingfordbury' store a range of pre-loved uniform items. Each half term, there is a pre-loved uniform stall at the end of the school. Look out for the dates of these.
If you are in need of a specific piece of uniform before these pre-loved sales, please do contact the school office and we can contact the Friends Association.
